He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Booten and Sarah Booten (Shanks); and his sisters, Martha Slaughter of Virginia and Minnie Smith of Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Booten (Brooks); and his daughter Kimberly Booten LaClair. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
