She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Ridd and Gertrude Maher; her former husband Roy Smith; her husband Francis Flaherty; her siblings, Eugene Ridd and Rosemary Liese; her great grandchild Ashton Flaherty; and her close friend Kathy Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Aleo, Kevin Flaherty (Roxanne), Bryan Flaherty (Kim) and Robert Schoenheit; and her grandchildren, Nichole Santos, Melinda Conway, Valerie Flaherty Shand, Russell Flaherty, Ryan Flaherty, Joe Gallucci, Anthony Gallucci, Jay Hodge and Jesse Hodge. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
