She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Edward Brooks; her brothers, Jerome Brooks and Wilfred Brooks; her grandmother Brooks Scott; and her husband Sherman McKinley Booten.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Booten LaClair. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, friends, and several dear friends.
