He was predeceased by: his parent Howard T. Gee; his son Brian "Bub" Gee; and his brother Philip "Bill" Gee. He is survived by: his parent Madge A. Gee (Carpenter); his wife Martha; his daughters, Shari "Sis" Gee-Hugic of Lawrenceville and Kimberly Myers (James) of Lawrenceville; his grandchildren, Ryan, Brooke, Chelsea (Dustin), Travis and Troy; his great grandchildren, Reilly, Richard Henry "Rascal", Olivia, Wyatt, Leighton, Cassius and Reese; his sisters, Barbara Ball of Lawrenceville and Lucinda Frye of Florence, KY; his sister-in-law Sally Gee of Lawrenceville; and his close friend Paul Jayne (Captain) of Dundee, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
