He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kalmowitz and May Kalmowitz; his wife Henrietta "Henny" Tedofsky; and his brothers, Herbert, Robert and Ivan Kalmowitz.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Rios (Luis), Marsha Priceman (late Barnett) and Carey Kalmowitz (Cantor Rachel); his grandchildren, Rabbi Eitan Kalmowitz (Adina), Ezra Kalmowitz and Ilana Kalmowitz; and his great grandchild Shlomo Yitzchok Kalmowitz.
A shiva was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Residence of Carey and Cantor Rachel Kalmowitz (501 Larchlea Dr, Birmingham, MI 48009).
