With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Lindsey (Lawrence, New York), who passed away on December 5, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Albert Smith and Willie Mae Freemon Smith (David); her sons-in-law, Donnie R. Smith and Rickey A. Waddle; and her siblings, Arthur, Bud, Carroll, Leslie, Donald Smith, Virginia Luther and Lurlene Lindsey.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kevin Smith (Amanda), Jeannine Jones (Kenny), Eric Lindsey, Greta Lindsey, Holley Cody (Dennis), Ethan Waddle, Lindsay Buie (Tony), Lori Lindsey and Justin Lindsey (Hannah); and her sister Hester Collier. She is also survived by her four children.
