He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren J. Hopson and Alice Hopson. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Christopher (Creek), Lewis (Caity Battey), Owen Sager, Dylan Sager, Abigail Hopson, Madeline Hopson, Oliver Weatherley and Samuel Weatherly; his wife Annette; and also, Stephen J. Hopson of Latham, NY, Dawn M. Lewis (Christopher) of Fort Covington, NY, Michelle M. Sager (David) of Jeffersonville, NY and Matthew F. Hopson (Kristin Weatherly) of Alexandria, VA..
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home (97 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (498 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Latham, NY 12110).
