He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen Nightingale (Donovan); his parents, Charles T. and Mary E. Nightingale Jr. (Farrell); his children, Charles T. Nightingale IV (Denise) of Latham, James Nightingale (Jean) of Clifton Park and Katharine Nightingale (Jake Haker) of North River, NY; his grandchildren, C. Thomas Nightingale V, Lauren Nightingale, Matthew Nightingale, Hannah Nolan (Sean), Lydia Nightingale, Zachary Nightingale (Carmen), Matthew Haker (Kate) and Corinn Haker; and his great grandchildren, Jonathan Davis, Knox Nolan, Hazel Nolan, Ransom Nolan, Justice Nolan, Lily Haker and Mikaela Haker. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Bishops Appeal, 40 North Main Avenue Albany, NY 12203 or to the Regional Food Bank of Northeast NY, 965 Albany Shaker Rd, Latham, NY 12110 Interment will take place in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck CT.
