It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan N. VanDenburgh (Latham, New York), born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Phalen and Edna Phalen (Yearsly); her husband Nelson G. VanDenburgh, Sr.; and her siblings, John Phalen, Jr. and Patricia Hilt.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah A. Boswell (Robert Sr.) of Malta, Sandra L. VanDenburgh of Clifton Park, Diane S. Leach (Neil) of Cohoes and Nelson G. VanDenburgh, Jr. (Kari) of Latham; her grandchildren, Robert Boswell, Jr., Westly Boswell, Jason Sr., Tyler Sowek, Sarah, Kristen Leach, Emily, Nelson III and Jack VanDenburgh; her great grandchildren, Chloe Boswell, Jason Sowek, Jr. and Aila Mae Boswell; and her sisters, Barbara Vanderheyden and Lynda Zeitlin. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
