He is survived by: his wife Julie Anne Guralski Rys; his children, Audra Rys (Tom Bouleris), Gregory Rys (Rachael), Matthew Rys (Susan) and Julie McLoughlin (Patrick); his sister Marilyn Barron (Peter); and his grandchildren, Isaac, Emma, Jonah, Abby, Danny, Elizabeth, Bridget, Brendan and Liam.
