He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Kent and Gertrude Kent (Weaver); and his brother William C. Kent (late Ramona). He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Kent (Newman); his children, Richard J. Kent, Jr. (Briana Klender) and Michelle Tober (David Tober); and his grandson Richard J. Kent, III. He is also survived by four godchildren.
