He was predeceased by: his siblings, Valod, Rom and Melan. He is survived by: his wife Aida Tadevosyan; his children, Lusine (Eduard Aghayan) and Tigran (Nana Gabrielyan); and his siblings, Vardush, Seroj, Julik and Lilik.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Armenian Apostolic Church in memory of Rafik M. Ghazaryan.
