He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McElligott and Elizabeth McElligott (O'Shea); and his siblings, Peter and Catherine. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Mello); his son Matthew (Christy); and his grandson Anthony. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
