He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Opar and Martha Opar (Kawola); and his brother George Opar. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Opar (Manley); his daughters, Jennifer A. Everleth (Darrin), Carolyn Opar-Goslow (Rick) and Susan P. Opar (Edward Valachovic); his grandchildren, Sabrina, Georgiana, Owen, Megan, Patrick, Anastazia and Lana; and his siblings, Patricia Opar and Michael Opar (Patty Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
