With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Karafanda of Latham, New York, born in Cohoes, New York, who passed away on December 23, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Karafanda; her parents, Joseph Filak and Mary Filak; and her siblings, Peter, Pauline, Anna, Julia, John, Joseph, William and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Diane; her son William Karafanda (Diane); and her grandchildren, Samuel Karafanda, Madeline Karafanda, Claire Karafanda and William Karafanda. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be private at this time.
