She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles J. Meehan and Frances V. Meehan (Geiger); her husband James P. Murphy; her son Michael E. Murphy; and her siblings, Charles Meehan and Frances Casserly (James).
She is survived by: her sons, James M. Murphy (Patricia) of Delanson, Edward C. Murphy of Latham and John D. Murphy (Michele) of Clifton Park; her sister Marilyn Heggen (late Arne) of Ballston Spa; and her sister-in-law Jane Meehan. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
