It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Jeanne Selkis (Latham, New York), born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Powers and Isabelle Powers (Noble); her husband Jack; her son Michael Selkis; and her sisters, Dorothy McShea and Katherine Mergner.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Carberry (Bill), Kathy Shanks (Gary), John Selkis III (Jennifer), Thomas Selkis (Carol Ann) and Robert Selkis (Grace); her grandchildren, Daniel Culliton (Suzy), Ryan Selkis (Caitlin), Meghan Foody (Jim), Elizabeth Selkis (Edward), John Selkis IV, Jenna Selkis and Jacklyn Selkis; her brother Joseph "Sonny" Powers (Pat); and also, Ciara, Donna, Stephanie and Toni. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
