She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph A. Stapleton; her parents, James Tibbitts and Helen Tibbitts (Ray); her brothers, James and John Tibbitts; and her great grandchild Michaela Bender.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Meagher (Donald), Joseph R. Stapleton (Nancy) and Christine DeLaMater (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Kelly Bender (Michael), Donald, Sean Meagher, Amy, Kerry, Andrew Stapleton, Heather Burrell (Derek), Jeffrey DeLaMater (Mollie), Katie Judd (Aaron), Airen, Gregory DeLaMater and Megan McCarthy (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Joseph (Mary Margaret), Natalie, Rachel, Ryan Bender, Teddy, Sammy Stapleton, Lilly, Cody Burrell, Ava, Felix Judd, Eleanor, Zoe, Lucius, Wesley DeLaMater, Silas LeBeau and Alice Young.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home (149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Church (23 Crumitie Rd, Albany, NY 12211). A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery.
