She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Carriera and Filomena Carriera (DiMaggio); her spouse Michaele "Mike" Canistro; her son Luigi "Gino" Canistro; and her siblings, Salvatore, Antonio, Giovanni and Rosa.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Antini (Antonio) of Brunswick, John Canistro (Kim) of Troy, Filomena Aidala (Thomas) of Rotterdam and Anthony "Tony" Canistro of Albany; her grandchildren, Celestnino, Mike (Jessica), Mark (Elizabeth) and Giana; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Hunter and Giuliana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
