She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenford Westervelt and Clara Westervelt (Wilkinson). She is survived by: her husband James A. Young; her son Brian Westervelt (Jennifer); her granddaughter Madeline Westervelt; her sisters, Marion Brenenstuhl and Eileen LaMar; her parents-in-law, Joan and Henry Shoddy; and her pet Hunter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
