She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thornton and Anna Thornton (Dillon); and her siblings, Jack Thornton, Mary Shufelt and Anna Crowley.
She is survived by: her husband James J. McQuade Sr.; her sons, James J. McQuade Jr. (Teresa), Mark McQuade and Stephen McQuade; her sisters, Ruth Rose (late George) and Patricia Decker (Walter); and her grandchildren, Matthew McQuade, Rachel McQuade, Riley McQuade and Bayley McQuade. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
