He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Flaherty; and also Concetta DeLuca. He is survived by: his children, Amy and Joseph R. Flaherty (Sarah Rosenblatt); his brother-in-law Thomas Plati; and also, Thomas Sergi, Richard Sergi and Joan Sergi.
