With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D. Tervay of Latham, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. and Mary B. Tervay; his niece Haley Biederman; and his friend Robert McNamara. He is survived by: his sons, Justin Tervay and Jack Tervay; his girlfriend Barbara Langston; his siblings, Colleen Sheedy, Maureen Baxter (Wayne), Eileen Denette (Doug), Kathleen Biederman (Joel) and James Tervay; his nieces and nephews, Tara, Erin, Kerry, Brendan, Courtney, Kelsey, Daniel, James Jr., Blaine, Casey and John; and his close friends, Bill Dolan, Bob Miner, Bob Stiffen, Jeff Staats and Chip Heinbach.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home (97 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
