He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Parnell and Genevieve LaWare Parnell; his siblings, Bernard Charles, Thomas, Donald and Violet; and his grandson Joshua.
He is survived by: his wife Lena of Latham; his children, Patricia Parnell of Whitehall, Frank C. Maio (Mary Meyers-Maio) of Schodack and Christina Bridger of Watervliet; and his siblings, Melvina "Mazie" Borrero (Jose), Parnell, Jr. and Acevedo. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
