He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Allen and Dorothy E. Allen (Paul). He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Allen (Shea); his children, James Allen (Laura), John Allen, Matthew Allen (Melissa), Patricia Schadewald (Michael), Susan Allen, Geraldine Ferris (George), Dorothy Blake (Dave) and Catherine "Katie" Allen; and his brother Peter Allen (late Janet). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
