Smith; his son Brady Smith (Matthew); his stepchildren, Craig Laskoski (Eileen), Alicia Laskoski, Janine Griffith (Karl) and Carolyn West (Thomas); his grandchildren, Owen, Corey Laskoski, Anne, Lydia Griffith, Andrew and Nicole West; his brother Harry "Kip" Smith (Barbara); his aunt Jo Shedron; and his pets, Gracie and Dottie.

Donations, in Gary's memory and in recognition of his love for dogs and appreciation for rescuing them, may be made to the Carolina Canine Rescue and Adoption.
