Barney of Latham, New York, born in Watervliet, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his wife Rose M. Barney (Dorr); his parents, Luigi Barney and Theresa Barney (Marro); and his sisters, Catherine Valente (late Frank) and Philomena Manzerra (late Frank).
He is survived by: his children, Tina Dodge (Kenneth), Laurie Murtaugh (William), Luigi Barney, Dario Barney (Paula), Valerie Levine (Jeffrey) and Linda Mazza; his grandchildren, Torie Blake (Robert), Sarah Samu (Max) and Holly Dodge; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Bayer (Eric) and Gerry Cocran (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Makayla Blake, Brianna Blake, Jack Samu and Penny Samu; and his sister Nina Barney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
