She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mierau and Caroline Mierau; her granddaughter Paulette Dempster; her son-in-law Timothy Vadney; her siblings, Percy, Joseph Daye, Dorothy Story, Marie Belke, Marie Strom and Janice Kodim; her cousin Bobby Kodim; her siblings-in-law, Peter Ford and Gloria Ford; her friends, Henry and Phyllis Sullivan; and her husband Bud.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Amyot (Dave Soulier) of Cohoes, NY, Janet Godey (Brian) of Roseburg, OR, Paula DeSimone (Eric) of Mechanicville, NY, Joyce Rajkowski of Tribes Hill, NY, Debra Nier (Jeffrey) of Brooklyn, NY and Diane Vadney (late Timothy) of Malta, NY.; her siblings, Robert Daye of Citrus Heights, CA, Jean Cocot of Monticello, NY, Virginia Hetterich of Amityville, NY and Marilyn Cristiano (Victor); her sister-in-law Susan Daye of Thomasville, NC; and her cousin Rosemarie Nick of Hauppauge, NY. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
