She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Francis and Caroline Dolan (Cropsey); her son Daniel Halpin; her sister Doris Franklin; and her siblings-in-law, Chuck Franklin and Kay Halpin.
She is survived by: her spouse Chester J. Halpin; her children, Timothy Halpin, Michael Halpin of Latham, Mary Ellen Moore (Michael) of Slingerlands, Howard Halpin and Thomas Halpin (Betty); and her grandchildren, Kate, Dan, John, Patrick, Ryan Halpin, Shannon Porter (Ken), Erin Adams (Jason) and Caroline Reis (Matt).
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ellen can be made to the Father Peter Young Treatment Center.
