He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Duffy and Edna Duffy (Pesnel). He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Duffy Piper and Ellen Duffy; his grandson Andrew W. Piper (Shelby); his sister Rita E. Ablett (late John); and his friend Matt Schrom (Lori).
In lieu of Flowers donations may be made in Dan's honor to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, honoring the sacrifice of firefighters who laid down their lives to save others on September 11, 2001.
