She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gary Lee and Jean Marie Bates (Chagnon); her stepmother Martha Woodworth Bates; her siblings, Michael Bates (Babes), Marcie Bates, Jeffrey Bates (Becky), Julianne Schweigardt (Brian), Scott Skiff (Aimee) and Janet Marie Bates; her nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Kenneth, Alijah, Ryan and Abby Bates; and also Aayden Bates. She was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and co-workers.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home (97 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110).
Christine will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to others which was demonstrated even following her death with her gift of life to others via organ and tissue donation.
