He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Scampini and Alberta Scampini (Storti); and his sister Janet Williamson. He is survived by: his wife Marie Kelts; his children, Paul Scampini (Susan) of Latham, Lisa Namyet (Jay) of Eugene, OR, Therese Scampini of Cottonwood, CA, Daniel Scampini (Gerlinde) of San Diego, CA, Marie Scampini of Los Angeles, CA, Andrew Scampini (Susan) of Mechanicville and Michael Scampini (Andrea) of Laguna Beach, CA.; his grandchildren, Stephen, Mark Matthew (Tara), Amanda (Bill), Emily (Joe), Rebecca, Alexandra, Alexa, Jack, Jason, Connor and Weston Shapiro; and his great grandchildren, Stone, Steele, Benjamin, Lilly and Zack.
Mask's and all social distancing will be required at both the visitation and funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made through a Mass Remembrance at Our Lady of the Assumption Church or a donation in Chuck's memory to the Schenectady City School District Educational Foundation at PO Box 3956 Schenectady, NY 12303.
