He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Ellen Hughes (Dunn) and Martin J. Hughes; his wife Marta Pat Hughes (Campos); his daughter Bridget Hughes Graber (Brian); his grandchildren, Madeleine and Aidan; his brothers, Martin J. Hughes III (Dianne) and Peter D. Hughes (Sandra); his close friend William Picotte (Susan); his nephews, John Hughes (Carrie Ann), Matthew Hughes (Amie) and Mark Hughes (Heather); and his niece Shannon Hartz (Scott).
