Bernard L. Plantier Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2025, at the age of 91, Bernard L. Plantier of Latham, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Leon Plantier and Beatrice Chaput; his wife Marge Plantier; and his siblings, Jacqueline Plantier, Roger Plantier and Judith Woodard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Lawton and Denise Nairy; his grandchildren, Timothy Lawton (Sydney), Jack Lawton, Grace Lawton, Joseph Lawton, Thomas Lawton, Allyson Schmania (Nicholas), Keaton Nairy and Olivia Nairy; and his great grandchildren, Vivian and Iris Schmania.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cannon Funeral Home (2020 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205). A prayer will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and in recognition of the wonderful care and support Bernie provided to his grandson with autism, memorial contributions may be made to Cardinal McCloskey Community Services, 115 E. Stevens Avenue, Ste LL5, Valhalla, NY 10595.
