She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schanz and Bertha Schanz (Bauer) of Watervliet; her husband Donald R. Farrell of Watervliet; her siblings, William Schanz, Joseph Schanz and Marion Patrei (Richard); and her daughter-in-law Nancy Landrigan.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara, Donald Farrell (Zoila) of Raleigh, NC, William Farrell (Stephanie) of Cambridge, Peg Farrell of Delmar, Timothy Farrell (Jamie) of Latham, Kathy Farrell of Latham and Richard Farrell (Annemarie) of Slingerlands; her grandchildren, Sarah, Audrey Farrell, William, Andrew (Jaryl), Thomas, Matthew Farrell, Matthew Chaput, Erin Farrell, Brendan Farrell, Grace Novine, Allison and Ryan Farrell; her siblings, Carolyn Schanz and John Schanz; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Schanz and Catherine Schanz; and her cousin Brigitte Johnson (Philip). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
