She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sebastiano Chiera and Sarafina Chiera (Gallo); her spouse Rocco Mele; her children, Mary Grace Renda (Vittorio) of Latham, Nicola Mele (Kelly) of Watervliet, Sarafina Mele (late Mario) of Italy, Fernando Mele of Colonie, Gerardo Mele of Latham, Rita Archina (Frank) of Colonie, Ines Esposito-Mele of Latham, Raffaele Mele (Melinda) of Clifton Park, Anoinella Mangini (Anthony) of Nesconset, NY, Francesco Mele (Daniele) of Sarasota, FL and Luciana Sabatino of Guilderland; and her grandchildren, Isabella Renda, Nicola Mele, Bianca Mele, Teresa Mele, Nicole, Sarah, James, Laura, Melissa, Sophia, Ryan, Arcangela, Rocco Mele, Luciano Mele, Angela, Francesco, Antonio Archina, Raffaelle Esposito, Jessica Mele, Raffaelle Mele, Luciana Condit, Giovanni Mangini, Grace, Giuliana and Francesca Mele. She was also cherished by friends and her children's friends.
