He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jane McCarthy and James McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Andrea (Peter), Jed (Janis), Amy (Alain) and Tara (Christopher); and his sister Anne Randall of Sun City. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dick's memory to Westchester Care at Home/VNS of Westchester.
