He is survived by: his wife Patricia Scales; his children, Dennis (Rebecca), Kevin, Jennifer (Peter), Christopher (Jessica), Daniel and Nancy; his grandchildren, Ryan, Madeline, Dylan, Elizabeth, Jordan, Erienne and Parker; and his siblings, Trudy Wagner and Charles Scales.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Don's memory to St. Jude's.
