She was predeceased by: her children, Alice and Edward; her granddaughter Heather Cooke; her close friend Andy Von Husen of Yonkers; and her friend Lee Bloom of Larchmont.
She is survived by: her husband Donald F. La Sala; her children, Pamela Cooke of Ojai, CA and Donald; her daughter-in-law Susan; her nieces, Joan and Linda Capron of Tuscon, AZ; her nephew John De Francisco of Long Beach, CA; her grandchildren, Justin, Whitney, Hillary Cooke of Baltimore, San Francisco and Ian Bunk of St. Petersburg, FL; her great grandchildren, Grace, Marshall and Ana of Ojai, CA.; her friend Lola; and also Sonia.
Donations in her memory may be given to At-Home-On-the-Sound, a local group who help elderly stay living in their homes: Alice for years drove and looked after other elderly she knew needing help.
