He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Farkas and Nellie Farkas (DiGiacomo); and his brother Martin. He is survived by: his wife Alice Kaupp; his children, Stephen Farkas (Dawn) and Kathleen Watson (Drew); his grandchild Shalyn Watson (Charles Schaff); his great grandchild Stephen Farkas (Ashley Larkin); and his siblings-in-law, Cecile Vormwald of Florida and Richard Kaupp (Barbra) of Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Steve's name may be directed to Hospicare of Ithaca and the Lansing Community Library.
