He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Esther Hansen (Krogh) and Martin Hansen; his spouse Gerd H. Syversen; his children, Andrew Aasen, Nina Aasen, Paul Aasen (Amy Barth-Aasen) and John Aasen (Cathy); his grandchildren, Matthew, Erik, Kaitlin, Connor Aasen, Erika Johnson (Michael), Aaron Eddy (Arianna), Kristian Eddy, Ashleigh, Felicia, Rebecca, Annie Barth-Aasen, Kelsey Aasen and Martin Aasen; and his siblings, Martin Hansen (Ruth) of Rockaway, NJ., Jean Gibson (Hansen), Arthur Bleivik (Hansen) and Thomas Hansen. He was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.
