Mildred Horton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Horton of Lansing, New York, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mildred Horton to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hovanus and Myrtle Hovanus (Collins); her husband Glenn Horton; her granddaughter Stephanie Vasquez (Arnold); and her siblings, Florence Leonard, Clara Howland, Ida Hovanus, Edith Hovanus and Norman "Bud" Hovanus.

She is survived by: her son David Horton of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Jon Horton (Misty) and Ashley Kennedy (Nathan); her daughter Carol Lowe (Richard) of Newark Valley, NY; her grandsons, Josh Williams (Krista), Jason Williams (Paula) and Jeff Williams (Kerry); her daughter Sandy Landon (Lynn) of Lansing, NY; her grandchildren, Sara Hatfield (John) and Rusty Landon (Kathryn); her great grandchild Jim Horton (Patty) of Alpine, CA; her children, April Gonzales (Dan) and Albert Castellanos; and her great grandchildren, Alexa, Victoria, Alec, Aubrey, Chloee, Logan, Levi, Addy, Blakely, Hannah, Gage, August, Dusty and Sienna.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 1189 Auburn Rd, Locke, NY 13092.
