He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryant Avery and Charlena Avery (Berry); his children, Charlena Foster and Randy Avery; his brother Robert Avery; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Stuart (Bill) and Jack Quigley (Ruth).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Avery; his granddaughter Christina Foster (Rene Duncan); his great grandchildren, Aiden, Tyler and Autumn Duncan; and his sister-in-law Nancy Avery. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
