He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Topolski and John Topolski Sr.; his wife Florence T Topolski; and his sisters, Barbara Gorski (late Anthony) and Bernice LaPrell (late Harold). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
