He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joyce Butlak; his children, Timothy Butlak (Maria), Thomas Butlak, Peggy Schappert (John) and Susan Congdon (Donald); his grandchildren, Amanda Smith (William), Brandi Burgdorf, Nicholas Ferguson (Jason), Jacquelynn Norris, Cassandra Mook (Daniel), Jacob Norris, Thomas Butlak, Hannah Schappert, Charity Weaver (Erik) and Jason Gwynne; his siblings, Patricia Bialkowski (late Dennis) and Robert (Christine Nieman); and his mother Teresa Parish. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home Inc. (4929 Broadway, Depew, NY 14043). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Church (496 Terrace Blvd, Depew, NY 14043).
