He is survived by: his wife Christine Karaszewski; his daughters, Amanda Mattison (Tom) and Stephanie Karaszewski; his grandchildren, Leo and Lucy; and his sister Rita Horbach (late Hilmar). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
