He was predeceased by: his parents, Booster Keys and Ivory Harsley; his adoptive parents, James Davis and Annie Davis; his son Frank A. Davis; and his siblings, Queen Smith, Mary John Baldwin and James "Sonny" Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Basile Davis; his daughters, Rachael Davis of Lakewood and Kellianne Davis of North Carolina; and his siblings, Annie Ruth Wilson (George) of Jamestown, Annie Belle Barton of Mississippi, Pearl Allen (James) of North Carolina, Annie Lee Jones of Boston and Charles Davis of Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
