William Depas Obituary
The memory of William Depas of Lakewood, New York, who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Seraphim Depas and Athena Stavredon Depas; his wife Doris Depas; his stepdaughter Sondra D. Payne; and his siblings, Chris Depas, Gust Depas (Roberta), Simon Depas (Nina), Mary Matie (Dale), Franny Papageorge (Theodore) and Martha Parry (Jack).
He is survived by: his sons, Randall W. Depas of Lakewood, N. Y., Robert Spencer (Judy) of Jamestown, N. Y. and Richard Spencer of Busti, N. Y.; his brother Thomas Depas (Pat) of Ashland, VA; his stepson Scot A. Hedlund (Joanna) of Jamestown, N. Y.; his grandchildren, Monica, Maggie, Rachael and Ashton Spencer; and his great grandchild Ruby Spencer. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home (316 E 5th St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
