He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Lynn and Mildred Lindstrom Lynn; his wife Virginia Mae Winberg Lynn; his son Donald E. Lynn of Erie, PA; and his brother Raymond Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Richard M. Lynn, Jr. (Joanne) of Cornwall, CT, Nancy J. Lightfoot (Leonard) of Burbank, CA and Janet L. Blakeslee (John) of Erie, PA.; and his grandchildren, Jason, Brian, Olivia Lynn, Christopher Lightfoot, Jennifer Calabretta, Sarah Castillo and John M. Blakeslee. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of the exceptional care provided by Springhill Assisted Living in recent years, memorials may be made to Springhill Senior Living, Forest View Outdoor Project, 2323 Edinboro Road, Erie, PA 16509.
