She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel Edson and Beatrice "Betty" Love Edson; her husband James W. Whitermore; her children, Greg Whitermore (Laurie) of Bemus Point, NY, Brad Whitermore of New York City, Thomas Whitermore of Saratoga Springs, NY and Carolyn Thurman of Macon, MO; her grandchildren, Colin Whitermore, Allison Johnson (Alex), Dalton Thurman, Conner Thurman, Wyatt Thurman, Chad Whitermore, Holly Whitermore and Livia Whitermore; her great grandchildren, Owen, Emme Johnson, Brody, Ty and Addison Whitermore; and her siblings, Sally Patchen of Jamestown, NY, Ann Smith of Sun City, FL and Brian Edson of Charlottesville, VA..
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date when family can be together.
